Chapter 14. SOLID WASTE

§ 14-1. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Garbage shall include all general household refuse, animal or vegetable matter from the handling, preparation, use, cooking, dealing in or storage of food, rags, glass, paper, cloth, plastic materials, tin cans and other like items except industrial solid waste and commercial food processing.

Trash shall mean paper, straw, or other small flexible objects normally accumulated in the care and maintenance of residential and commercial property.
