§ 16-52. Approval procedures.

The preliminary plat shall be examined by the planning and zoning commission and any other interested city or parish department for review and recommendation in relation to specific service problems. The approval of the preliminary plat shall not be deemed final acceptance but rather an expression of approval of the layout as submitted on the preliminary plat. Such approval shall not be noted on the preliminary plat. One (1) copy of the preliminary plat shall be retained in the files of the planning and zoning commission.
