§ 17-54. Levy of additional license tax of specified percent of gross receipts.

Every person owning or operating, or owning and operating, any public utility, within the corporate limits of the city shall, in addition to all other taxes and licenses levied and assessed in this city, pay a license tax for the privilege of engaging in such business in the city of two (2) percent of the gross receipts from its business within the corporate limits of the city.
