§ 2-190.82. Definitions.

For the purpose of this article, the following terms, words, phrases and their deviations shall have the meaning given herein. When not inconsistent with the context, words used in the in the plural number include the singular number, and words used in the singular number include the plural number. The word "shall" is always mandatory and not merely directory.

Bogalusa Cemetery Commission is hereby created, to consist of no more than eleven (11) members who will be appointed by the mayor of the city, with the approval of the Bogalusa City Council. The appointees known as the board will elect a chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary, treasurer, and executive chairpersons. The mayor will submit his appointments to the city council for confirmation.

City is the City of Bogalusa, Louisiana.

Cemetery a burial ground for the deceased. There are two (2) in the city - Bogalusa Cemetery and Ponemah Cemetery.
