§ 2-391. Appearance bonds.

(a)

The police department is authorized to charge a fee for investigating and/or processing appearance bonds posted pursuant to court order with the department. The amount of the fee shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00) per bond and shall be nonrefundable.

(b)

All proceeds collected from the fee shall be placed in an account for capital improvements for the police department.
