§ 3-30. Duties.

The airport commission shall have the following duties:
(1)

Act in an advisory capacity to the city council and airport authority in all matters pertaining to the George R. Carr Memorial Airfield and/or any other airports or airfields under the jurisdiction of the city.

(2)

Consider provisions of annual budget for airport improvements or long range planning and make recommendations with respect to the budget to the mayor and city council.

(3)

Assist in planning permanent improvements and long range planning for the airport and to promote and stimulate public interest in civil aviation in the city.

(4)

Accept money, personal property or real estate, donated to the city or the commission for purpose of long range planning or capital improvements to the airport properties.
