§ 4-111. Definitions.

[The words, terms and phrases used in this article shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them as follows:]

Alcoholic beverage means and includes any spirits, wine, beer, ale or other liquid, or solid capable of being converted into a liquid, containing more than one-half (½) percent of alcohol by volume, which is fit or intended for beverage purposes.

Motor vehicle means every vehicle which is self-propelled including, but not limited to, automobiles, trucks, vans and motorcycles.

Open container means any drinking or pouring vessel including any open or unsealed bottle, jar, can, cup, container without lids, or with lids but with straws protruding therefrom or with only partial lids.
