§ 5-59. Poundkeeper to keep record; to retain fees.

The poundkeeper shall keep a book accurately describing the animals impounded, the date thereof, when fed and watered, when sold and the amount received therefor, and this book shall be turned over to the city clerk at the end of each calendar month as a part of the records of the city.

The animal control officer shall log information on dogs picked up by animal control that include the following:
Date

Breed

Gender

Color/Distinguishing marks, etc

Examine dog to see if spayed or neutered

Collar

General area of town picked up

Disposition
