§ 6-231. Code adopted.

There is hereby adopted by the city council those certain health and housing standards known as the Standard Housing Code, 1988 Edition, 1989 Revisions, as published by the Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc. Three (3) copies of such code are filed in the office of the city clerk. The code is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling on all buildings and premises within the corporate limits of the city.
