§ 6-142. Electric sign certificate required.

(a)

Every person, firm or corporation, before engaging in the business of installing electrical signs or repairing same, must secure an electrical sign certificate from the electrical inspector. Fees shall be set by the city.

(b)

Any person, firm or corporation operating under an electrical sign certificate shall not be permitted to run primary wiring for signs to tie to same.
