§ 6-163. Application, permits.

(a)

Before beginning any work in the city, other than minor work as defined in the plumbing code, the person installing or altering same shall apply to the plumbing inspector and obtain a permit to do such work. Only those persons legally authorized to do plumbing may be issued permits.

(b)

All applications for permits shall be made on suitable forms provided by the city. The application shall be accompanied by fees as fixed from time to time by the city council and on file in the city clerk's office.
